Champagne and Purple Halo Eyeshadow Tutorial

Champagne and Purple Halo Eyeshadow Tutorial

I wanted to do something soft and romantic, but still an interesting look. It's a pretty champagne and purple halo eyeshadow look. It'll look great on all eye colors, but works particularly well for those with green eyes. Just keep reading along if you'd like to see how or click here if you prefer a video format.

Here's the look we'll be creating today!

Champagne and Purple Halo Eyeshadow Tutorial

Start out by priming your eyes.

Champagne and Purple Halo Eyeshadow Tutorial

Apply Mac Sketch (satin, purple) to the outer corners of the eye, but leave the center of the lid blank. I use a Mac 242 for this step.

Apply a base shadow of anything that is close to your skin tone and matte. I am using SauceBox Snow Flake (matte, off white) with a Simga E60.

Blend the edges of Sketch. I use a Mac 217.

Apply SauceBox Cream Dream (matte, cool taupe) to the crease. I use a Simga E45 for this.  Also, blend the edges.

Apply Mac Shadowy Lady (matte, deep blackened purple) to the very outer corner of where we applied Sketch. I use a pencil brush for this step.  Blend the very edges using a clean pencil brush.

Apply some type of sticky base to make the next shadow really pop. I am using NARS Soft Touch Pencil in Goddess (shimmer, pale pink champagne). Apply it right to the center of the lid where we have that blank spot.

Apply The Balm Mary Lou Manizer (very shimmery, neutral champagne) to the center of the lid over NARS Goddess. I use a Mac 242 for this step and lightly pat to blend.

Apply SauceBox Cream Dream under the entire lower lash line. I use a Sigma E45 for this.

Add Sketch to the outer corners. I use a pencil brush for this.

Using a pencil brush again, I apply Shadowy Lady to the outer quarter of the lower lash line.

Blend it all together. I use a Mac 217.

Apply Goddess to the center of the lower lash line.

Apply Mary Lou Manizer to the center of the lower lash line. Also, add a bit of black shadow along the upper lash line to create a soft liner look.

Apply some mascara and false lashes if you'd like and you're all done!
