Sigma Steady Glow Collection Review

Sigma recently sent me their Steady Glow collection and now that I have tried it out I'd like to share with all of you. The collection contains eyeshadow palette, three lip glosses, three inner rim pencils, five loose shimmers & three shimmer creams. I also have a video here  if you prefer a video format.

Brilliant & Spellbinding Palette

Hiatus -  Matte, neutral medium pink

Solstice - Shimmer, champagne

Heathy - shimmer + microglitter, golden champagne

Languid - shimmer, warm brown

Radiant - mate + gold microglitter, burnt orange

Balmy - matte, cool medium brown

10 - shimmer + slight glittery,  neutral brown

Spellbinding - shimmer + slight glitter, pale yellow (sheerer than other shadows)

Sensational - matte, burnt yellow

Bloom - matte + coral micro glitter, coral

Fey - shimmer, brown shift to  red

IG2 - shimmer, gunmetal with slight warm shift

Pigmentation: 7.5/10 The mattes are very creamy and nice & shimmers are nice with little fall out. The color Spellbinding is more sheer than the rest of the colors.

Texture: 8/10 The texture is quite nice, especially the mattes. The shimmers aren't quite as velvety, but are still quite easy to pick up on a brush.

Packaging: 7/10 Quite sturdy cardboard packaging. Has a mirror, but the top needs to be held to be able to use it.

Colors: 8/10 Lots of neutrals, lots of shimmers, and some really interesting colors. Bloom, Fey, IG2 and Sensational are my favorites.

Repurchase: Maybe, only because I'm not a huge fan of palettes with a lot of shimmer. At the same time, I do own a few (eg, Naked 2) but I don't reach for those as much.

Inner Rim Brighteners

Final Touch, Unclouded, Polished

Sigma Steady Glow Collection Review

Left to right: Polished, Final Touch, Unclouded

Final Touch - matte, pale neutral pink

Polished - matte, light warm tan

Unclouded - matte, white

Pigmentation: 9/10 Quite pigmented.

Texture: 8.5/10 Not as creamy as a typical eyeliner, but they are waxy which is idea for lining on the inner rim.

Packaging: 9/10 Basic sharpenable pencil packaging which also comes with a cap, which is quite nice.

Colors: 9.5/10 I really like the color of Final Touch for my skin tone. It will also work well for those with a cooler skin tone who may find the warmer ones look "off". I like that they also offer one liner on the warmer side, as well.

Repurchase: Yes, I would repurchase Final Touch since one is ideal for my skin tone.

Left to Right: Sultry, Brilliant, Superb

Brilliant - Shimmer/dewy,  light champagne.

Superb - Shimmer/dewy, rose gold

Sultry - Shimmer/dewy, warm bronze

Pigmentation: 8/10 These have a nice amount of color to shimmer ratio.

Texture: 9/10 I really enjoy the texture of these. They are very creamy but not overly sticky, so you can get an almost wet, dewy look but your face won't feel gross.

Packaging: 9/10 They come in shallow pots with a screw on lid.

Colors: 8/10 Nice range of colors for different skin tones.  Personally, I would want one lighter than Brilliant since it's slightly deeper than my skin tone, but I understand products for very light and deep skin tones are not always made.

Repurchase: Yes, although I cannot use them as a highlight, I would keep them in my kit and Superb is a nice blush on my skin. The texture is what I enjoy most, as I find many products like these to be too sticky.

Left to right: Ravishing, Midsummer, Lush, Ambrosia, Gilded

Ambrosia - Shimmer, pale cool pink

Gilded - Shimmer, leaning glittery

Lush - Shimmer, warm base with pink and purple shift

Midsummer - Shimmer, leaning glittery bronze

Ravishing - Shimmer, pale champagne white

Pigmentation: 7-9/10 I find the shades that are more glittery to be sheerer than Ravishing and Lush. This would change where you may use them. A sheer color is great for a highlight but the more pigmented colors can work as eyeshadow colors, as well.

Texture: 7-8.5/10 I prefer the finer milled shimmers to the ones on the glittery side.

Packaging: 9/10 Nice small pots with a screw on lid. Each pot has a sifter inside, which I love for any loose pigments. They come with a sticker over the sifter so the product won't get all over during shipping.

Colors: 8/10 The colors fit well with the theme of the collection and they can also be used as highlights or to add glow. My favorite is Lush which I have used on my eyes, lips and cheeks.

Repurchase: Yes, especially Lush.

Lip Vexes

Left to right: Vivid, Chillout, Steady Glow, Skinny Dip, Dazzling

Chillout - Gloss, pastel cool pink

Dazzling - Gloss + glitter, brown with champagne glitter

Skinny Dip - Gloss, peachy coral

Steady Glow - Gloss + shimmer, peachy coral base with gold reflect

Vivid - Gloss, soft rose red

Pigmentation: 6/10 These glosses go on sheer, but can be built up.

Texture: 8/10 A bit of tackiness, but not too sticky. I prefer non-sticky glosses, however, they do cut down on wear time. I get about 3-4 hours of wear out of these.

Packaging: 6.5/10 The packaging is okay. They are less sleek then the rest of the collection and the brush is too floppy to get a clean line.

Colors: 7/10 Decent color range with most leaning to the warm side & only one cool. Vivid is a very pretty gloss color and looks nice alone or over lipsticks.

Repurchase: No. While I do like these glosses and they aren't overly sticky, I rarely wear glosses myself.
